King Roc – Chapters. I must admit that I don’t know much at all about King Roc apart from some random mentions. Chapters is not really an album of individual songs but one huge long 80 minute ride of electronic soundscapes. It’s better than a lot of stuff out there right now.

Who is Colin Munroe? Exactly. You hear Black Milk (above) on the production for something and you take notice – did you even hear Dreams? ‘Piano Lessons’ from Colin Munroe (take notice!) dropped earlier in the year. One Wednesday of each month will now become Remix Wednesday a new feature to HNS. We’ll be doing a showcase of a few of the remixes we’ve been hearing around the web and also those that have been emailed in by listeners. It’s going to mostly be Dance, Hip-Hop, Electro but everything else is welcome. Hmm.. so what to include this month..

I’ve got so many remixes that I want to cover but I guess I’ll whittle it down to just three or four of the craziest. Number one is something from STEREOBIT. Midnight Juggernauts – Into the Galaxy (Danger Remix)

I saved these two for last. I love this remix of Burial’s Archangel by Phaseone. Someone sent this in anonymously to us here at HNS so thank you for that. Phaseone is someone to keep an eye on. He’s from St. Louis and makes some great electronic music with a clear Hip-Hop influence. Look out for his album which is due shortly, although I have been unsuccessful in finding details of a release date, I know it will be called Thanks but No Thanks. Holla
