First there was Travis Stewart aka Machine Drum with his hip-hop influenced grooves like Half The Battle, released on Merck (R.I.P). The label put out a lot of great albums in the early 2000′s from people like Malcom Kipe, Proem and Tycho. Check them out.
Then there was the glitchy stuff of alter ego Tstewart. Camp Lejune is a good one,
